An Icon Musician and Former Headmaster dies at 73

My family and I personally remember Mr. Curry as a great artist. On September 3rd, 1994 we were happy to have had the privilege of having him play the organ at our wedding. A devout Catholic he was instrumental in ensuring that everything we did during practice before the wedding was done exactly as expected by the Catholic Church. He was a great musician who was very particular with the way things were done. We will miss him.

After suffering emphysema for the last year, Mr. Andrew Curry passed away while getting ready for Mass the morning of January 17, 2010. He was 73 years old.

Mr. Curry served as the first lay headmaster during the years of 1971-1977. As education played a significant role in molding his life he always sought to further develop himself by gaining multiple degrees.

He will be remember as the powerful organist and musical director of St Francis Cathedral, West St where he became a fixture in the Church. Mr. Curry is survived by his wife Lynn, 2 sons, 1 daughter and predeceased by a son.
