Receiving the Sacrament "Annointing of the Sick" while in hospital

It's been a while since I have made a post and that would be because I have been hospitalized.

Rushed to Mt Sinai Hospital in Miami on 13th March, I had to undergo immediate lower back surgery.

The Sunday day before my surgery I did not want to receive anesthesia without having a Priest come and Annoint me with oil and also receive the Sacrament of Eucharist.

Immediately I remembered Monsignor Terrance Hogan of the Archdiocese of Miami. He conducted a lecture on "The Eucharist" at St Anselm's Church, Bernard Rd on 10th Feb 2010. His secretary gave him the message and a few hours later he came and prayed with me and administered the Sacraments as mentioned.

I was overly happy that Msgr Hogan took the time from his busy schedule to come by and see me. I recommend that if you are unable to receive the Sacrament of "Annointing of the Sick" from Nassau before leaving for the United States, please contact a Church within the Diocese of the area.
