Fr. Reggie as affectionately known, suffered a stroke while on retreat here in Nassau New Providence. It is not known at this time when he will be returning to Freeport.

Through the means of therapy Doctors are expecting a full recovery. Fr Reggie was ordained to the Priesthood June 3rd 1987. He has served as Parish Priest in Nassau up until 1995 where he was transferred to Freeport to serve the communities of St Vincent De Paul Parish and St Agnes Parish.

Let us pray the following prayer for Fr Reggie:
Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant "Fr Reggie Demeritte"
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
he may give thanks to You in Your Church.

Through Christ our Lord.
