All Catholic Basketball Tournament begins

Today marked the kick off to the "All Catholic Basketball Tournament". This year the tournament is in honour of Mr. Vincent Ferguson and Deacon Leviticus Adderley. Both gentlemen played a major role in the development of the tournament from it's inception.

First to start off the evening was Aquinas College "ACES" against St Augustine College's "Big Red Machine". Both teams played exceptionally well but only one could come out the winner. Having remained neck to neck for the first half of the game, SAC took the lead and never looked back.

Aquinas College "ACES" lost to the Big Red Machine. Everyone are invited to come on out to support your favourite team. The voices of encouragement and cheers can lift a players spirit to do exceptionally well. Don't let your team down.

Coming on the courts after St Augustine's win were the teams of St Cecelia's Parish and Holy Family. Both teams seemed very excited to be the first Parish teams to start. As these players are from the Parish, they consist of both young and not so young players.
Both teams put a great game as they kept the crowds excited with their highly intense performance on the courts. The game ended with St Cecelia's being defeated by Holy Family.
