The Roman Catholic Church in The Bahamas is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope. The diocese was elevated to a full diocese, as the diocese of Nassau in June 1960. On June 22nd, 1999, the diocese was again elevated as the new Archdiocese of Nassau.

As a Catholic blogger, Kevan is putting his gifts and talents to use through online communications. We are all called to work in the vineyard of the Lord, therefore Kevan is expressing the love of his faith through the blogging media with occasional emphasis placed on happenings and current events around the Archdiocese of Nassau.

Kevan Knowles, a pilot by profession, is no Theologian, but has a strong passion for his Faith and what he believes. A cradle Catholic and proud member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Kevan is married to his lovely wife of 23 years and they have 2 wonderful children.

He does not expect to receive accolades or recognition for the work that he is doing but must give thanks to all those persons who have emailed or telephoned him to express their appreciation (the majority coming from overseas). It comes as no surprise though, as even Jesus, as he entered his hometown was rejected by his own.

Matthew 13:57 "A prophet is not without honor except in his native place and in his own house."

Please feel free to contact Kevan with any questions, concerns or errors you may find. Thank you. May God continue to Bless the Archdiocese of Nassau and our great Bahamaland.
